Having been here since 6, I have to say, with EVERY upgrade, somebody loses out due to timing. As a company, Avid(or anybody else) has to make some choice as to cutoffs, so no matter what they do, the tick somebody off. While I do feel bad for those that are on the short end of this stick, I also feel bad for the company enduring the ragging because they can't afford to just "give away the farm". I will buy 11 no matter what deal I get as the new features will be killer for me as a "power user". There must be thousands of users out there that don't need the new goodies and those folks can keep on truckin'(I know folks still on 8, 7.x and all the way back to 6.4
