Definitely better to work at 48 vs 44.1. All your recording, mixing, EQ, etc is done on the higher sample rate audio. Then do ONE last conversion down to 44.1 at the end. Or better yet, let your mastering engineer convert down to 44.1 when HE is done manipulating the audio.

At 48k... I'm curious how it would incorporate all my sample libraries? Kontact, maschine expansions, Vienna orchestra, etc... I'm not even sure what sample and bit depth they all are. I've always used 44.1/24bit.
