I haven't had a single crash with 10.14.6 and 2019.12, but i have had some occasional cpu spikes.. it's no big deal, besides the usual bugs it's rock solid.. I would say just stay on Mojave if you can cause pro tools and everything else will work on it for the foreseeable future.. Mojave is metal so even if Avid make PT true metal it should still work on Mojave, but then it won't work on anything prior.. I hate Catalina so this is why it works out that mojave is the best "jack of all trades" IMHO right now, for any kind of music making.
