Yeah, I preferred the more raw rhythm guitar arrangement on the original "Bravery..." Thought the added leads weren't necessary, but its probably just me being used to it the other way.

As far as Roger Waters being "nothing" without Pink Floyd, I consider every single one of Waters' solo albums to hold equal value to that of my favorite Floyd records (Animals, DSOTM, The Wall, Piper, etc.)

Especially compared to David Gilmour's solo efforts, none of which are even on the radar for me...

Anyways, regardless of personal preference on the tunes, the recordist in me views Waters' solo albums as true achievements in sonic splendor. I don't understand why anyone would want to re-master them? In the past decade, I've heard dozens of re-masters of some of my favorite albums, and they ALL do wrong to the originals. Call me an old fuddy duddy, but what is the point? Its called a volume knob, people.
