Default No AVB devices detected - S3

Hello again!

New thread, old issue.

After the upgrade to Mojave and the firmware/Eucon update, the S3 has - a couple of times now, disappeared. It works 90% of the time - maybe even 95%, then, from nowhere I get no audio through the desk, and Audio Midi Setup says "No AVB devices detected on your network"

The Avid software and firmware are up-to-date, and while it COULD be an Avid issue, it seems to generally resolve itself if the computer is switched off overnight (I don't know the minimum hours off it needs, but certainly one hour doesn't cut it). That in itself seems like a computer issue, as the desk doesn't discharge over time.

However, the machine was off all last night, and there we are - or rather there we aren't.

The other reason I'm leaning towards Mojave OR my iMac is that I see numerous postings online on this subject, and for a variety of AVB desks and interfaces. Common denomination seems to be Mojave.

I've plugged/unplugged everything - even things that weren't connected. Reset PRAM, SMC, switched things on and off in numerous different orders - BUT - and I stress this: what on earth would be the reason or point of that, when it has worked every day i the past, and NOTHING changes between it working and it disappearing. This is getting frustrating!

Any thoughts? Workarounds? Is anyone else in the same boat? All advice gratefully received.
