Yeah I agree. I might have to dig around and find your link now, however.

I have heard mostly good word about performance on the M1. Although, there maybe be some validation/authorisation issues where Waves is concerned. As I understand it they are working on a compatibility upgrade for it, so it shouldn’t be too long.

There’s word of a 12 MacBook Pro chip coming out. However, I’m uncertain that means 12 hyperthreads or actually 12 cores. Either way, given the performance of the M1, it sounds VERY promising even though I’m a desktop user myself.
