That is what the Spot feature is for.

Import all your audio into the Region list. Hit [F3] to Select Spot in the Upper left corner of the edit window. Click and drag the audio files from the region list one at a time onto the tracks. As you drag them a window will come up. At the bottom of this window choose "Use original time stamp". It will then place it in the EDL where it was originally recorded.

If you already have audio in the tracks, I believe if you choose spot and then go to move them the same window will come up. Choose "Use orginal time stamp" and it will put it where it is supposed to be.
