It is gradually happening for long time now, but people in charge, are either blind or deaf....probably both, to oversee that the company heads toward a cliff.

The decision to raise the prices, move to a sub model, is a desperate move, as it seems and will not fix anything. They are delusional if they truly believe that this will save them, it will just buy them some time...and then... the free fall until the crash.

It would be more honest if they made a public request to their user base, asking for financial injection with the form of a nice offer, like a win-win deal.
Also a generous update with the most asked features, customers couldn't reject and take people on their side. Increase the user base with new blood and keep them sailing.

Oh well....one can only dream.

Cheers!
