TVs (LCDs) are pointless to have curved between the distance they are from you and the size (even 80" screens.) I think most TV companies are giving up on them. You'd need a very large screen, very close to be useful with a curve (curves also eliminate the number of viewers who are seeing the screen best.)
Computer monitors at 3 ft or less away, for the 34" and larger ultrawides, the curve is useful as they are completely in your field of view. If they are further than 3ft away, the curve doesn't make sense again (it just adds optic distortion.)
