This is for Eddie: I can't find the thread again, but I noticed awhile back members were having difficulties using a 9.7" iPad in the dock and connecting the lightning cable without using a right-angle lightning cable.

Will the 10.5" iPad adapter work with a 9.7" iPad? I would assume that, if it will, that would resolve the lightning cable issue.

Has anyone tried this?
