Default Re: New Hackintosh / PT7 monster HD PCI Rig

So here are the details
MSI B75A-G43, Intel B75, S 1155
Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 32GB PC3-12800 1600 DDR3 RAM CML32GX3M4A1600C10B
Intel Core i7-2700K 3.5GHz - LGA1155 Quad-Core Sandy Bridge CPU
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6450 512MB DDR3
Seagate Barracuda Hard drive
Mountain Lion 10.8.2
Pro Tools 10.3.3 PCI HD3

The things I would change about the build now knowing what I learnt over the process.

1.) Would have got an IVY Bridge processor, would have had less problem with internal graphics card.
2.) Graphics card I choose isn't great in Mountain Lion, would have gotten something NVidia on the Tonymac list.

That's about it - we have a plan to get and SSD eventually to really up the performance but we had to be a bit tight and use drives we already had.
