I'm not familiar with the Mbox's.
Is the Mbox2 you're using compatible with PT v7 and if so do you have the correct drivers installed? It may be that the Mbox is only compatible with an update to v7 such as 7.01, 7.02 etc.
First thing to check is compatibility with pro tools versions as well as chipsets.
