[Snafu]

I know, I know, I will back up, just you never know if a plug in or something will mess up. It's taking forever to DL 8.03 so still waiting, deleted preferences too, and looked more into win8 suggestions once the pc restarts. I literally texted my pal earlier to say how happy i was i got all my external gear to work again after a struggle with that and was so happy and would never bitch about anything again hahaha. Famous last words. I'll keep you posted and hopefully some more ideas might come in. But be great to have Win 7 again too even if i fix this.
