My son has a Digi 002 Rack LE system running on a very fast, 2GB memory PC. I don't know all the details, but he sometimes runs into some problems here and there when he's got a very complex song with lots of tracks or plug-ins (I think I have that right). He's been working with ProTools LE for about four months now, and I really don't know much about it; but I am very knowledgeable PC techie.

My question is, are there any books or documentation anywhere that talks about "tuning" or "optimizing" a ProTools LE system? Is there a discussion anywhere of tips and techniques to squeeze more into the songs? That type of thing...
