Have an AJA Kona card and to be honest I have not needed/used my HD Sync in ages, I'm getting frame accurate without it.
I'm writing music for a documentary and using PT Ultimate instead of my usual Cubase 10 set up. As mentioned earlier, using my Rednet card provides better stability and lower buffer (especially when using lots of VIs) vs my HDN and HDX rig.
