I backup to two identical externals (several pairs of spinners, in my case). Active projects, then, have 3 identical copies. When the project is 100% done, I delete the
contents of the original session folder. Then, into this (now empty) session folder, I add a note telling me where (i.e. which 2 external drives) the backups are located. Just make sure you fully understand disk allocation, and
make sure the backups have ALL the content. My internal session drive has LOTS of tiny folders, containing nothing more than a note telling me where to find the backups. Works for me!!!
