Just upgraded to ProTools 12.7 from 10 on a clean SSD drive running Mac OS 10.12.2.
The installation seemed to go OK until I test loaded the Mini Grand instrument. Nothing but short clicky sound when I play my controller keyboard. All the Xpand instruments work just fine. This apparently is a known problem without a permanent solution. Others have tried workarounds which only occasionally work.
