MXF Video Files Playback Glitches
I'm having an issue with MXF video files playing back in Pro Tools HD 10.3.2, where the image jumps on high contrast scenes. My video playback hardware is and AV Option V10, playing out component video into a Cineo projector. The projector will play Quicktime files out of Pro Tools without any jumps. It's only with the MXF video that the problem occurs.
Our Avid suites are using Media Composer 6 and exporting MXF video as the media and AAF as the export format.
I'm groping a bit to find the source of this problem. I suspect it's the V10, but I don't know that for sure, as the V10 is also playing the Quicktime files without jumping.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
