I'm running Pro Tools LE 7 with a MusicXPC C4 computer, PC.
Many of the websites that I go to usually notify me of new Freeware/Shareware plug-ins that are available to download.
Here are a couple websites that I usually go to:

Many of these plug-ins look very promising and cool... but because they are free,
how do you make sure that any of the plug-ins you download, do not contain any viruses or spyware..etc..?
Do you guys usually download free plug-ins?
How do you stay safe when downloading free-plug-ins?
What do you recommend to do?
