Apologies for the delay. Not sure why they'd need an RA number for your renewal plan since it has not been used yet. Have you told them that it has not yet been used? I believe the RA number is needed if the product or code has been used. Can you also fill up a form at http://avid.force.com/Support/RegistrationCaseCreation then include all info including the code from GC. Then let us know the case number.
