I had no problems at all upgrading from 5.3.1 to 6.4 on my Digi001. I did lose a little power out of my CPU but not much. (in other words my Davec track count when down from 32+11aux to 32+6aux). I love 6.4 but you're not gaining a whole lot. It's a free download, you can always try it out and if you don't like it... revert back.
