Thanks for responding. Back when I first reported this issue I tried this on all 5 of our HDX2 and HDX3 systems with the same result - no matter the timing of N presses, if there’s a properly functioning HDX card with no audio interface, there’s no opportunity to select the playback engine. Plugging in an audio interface resulted in operation as expected. This was repeatable.
I won’t see any of those systems for a couple of weeks but can repeat the tests yet again, with low expectations based on spending much time on this previously.
