I'm putting together a computer to run the latest pro tools I'm looking at :
windows 10 home 64
10th gen i5 @2.9 10400
32 gig ddr4 ram
1tb ssd hd os
500gb ssd hd internal dedicated for bfd3
gigabite 210 motherboard
pro tools 2020.9 or latest version?
usb3 inputs
will this set up be ok with the fast ssd drives or should I opt for an earlier version of pro tools or an i7 may be??
thanks
Just me, but I would opt for i7 and a faster clock speed(like 3.4GHz or better). It costs more up front, but the system will last longer(because you won't out-grow it) which makes it a better value.
