No Wave driver has been released for Vista... yet.
There
is an ASIO driver and it is installed along with Pro Tools.
The stand alone drivers you were looking at are just that... "stand alone". Meaning only to be used if you
aren't installing any version of Pro Tools. Using any of those drivers can harm your PT installation.
You should find the Digidesign ASIO driver available in the Properties of any ASIO compatible application (Sonar, Cubase, etc.).
You won't see it mentioned as a Vista audio device... that's what the Wave driver is for...
It's very likely a driver will be released. Digidesign has commented that a rewrite is in the works.
