ok i have 2 'virtual' drum machines:

Steinberg Groove Agent 2 and a VST to RTAS of Cakewalk Session drummer (think thats what its called).

i cannot for the life of me get the plugins to sync and work properly with Pro Tools transport buttons tho.

Can someone point me in the right direction to a guide on getting a plugin drum machine to sync and work properly please?

also whats the correct way to hook the plugins up midi wise? somtimes it sounds like the drum pattern thats playing is playing twice slightly offset.

not sure what i'm doing wrong.

also the drag and drop pattern into the instrument channel i created doesnt seem to work properly, sometimes some patterns play ok, others only seem to only have the snare playing....
