I did upload ASIO4All to test PT12 with that as the audio interface and that seemed fine. I have since uninstalled that and tried with the Native card again but no joy.
It was all working fine before I had a 'blue screen' and had to reinstall windows.

Only two issues that cause this:
1. the HD Driver not installed.
2. lack of HD license.
