Not sure as I don't go too hard with the Brauer-izing technique, but I imagine to discerning ears, PT is not as clean and solid as doing that in the analog realm. I do my share of parallel compression both with hardware and software plugins and it seems to be pretty solid (delay comp for plugins and also hardware inserts) but most of the time i'm parallel compressing sub mixes or single instruments so the smearing that may or may not be there might be limited to smaller subsets of my mixes. However, if you're sending large parts of the mix to multiple compressors, all in parallel, it might make the delay comp imperfections, or simply questionable sample accurate-ness, start to stand out.

For me, it's not that noticeable though, yet.
