I would stick with 3.7 for trying to fix this but first, uninstall whatever's on there now.
Then open file explorer and select the c: drive type EuVkbd.sys into the search and see if any are left behind (let the search finish, it take a while). Try and delete them. Then reinstall v3.7

That worked! That file was in a few directories under System32. Removed and install went through. Looks like I'm back in business!! Thanks a bunch!!
