You don't need two machines. Run your VI's through Reaper or VEpro directly into ProTools from the same machine. You can run as many instances of VEpro as you want. One for 32 bit VI's and one for 64 bit VI's if you want.
Routes each track directly into ProTools through an AUX track. Piece of cake.
