this is bad. the buffer setting of 256 is the biggest that is usable in live situations. if PT7 is not stable with 256 buffer at +85% loads, then it's still work in progress and we have not seen the best of it.
remember; PT6 performance was perfected with 6.4 release - maybe we need to wait until at least 7.1 or so...
