Make sure inputs 3 and 4 are set to "mic/DI" on the front. It's not your Ram or processor. It sounds like either the hardware, or maybe there's soomthing wring with the way your inputs are routed, I know you said you checked, but who knows. So make sure on the track you set the input
to analog 3, or 4 before recording.
