Hey Mark,
I know exactly who you are...
Your services have saved my butt many a time.
In any case that's exactly what I would do with edit changes.
The thing is I've worked on feature films but with animation we are still recording dialog and the video/animators guys are changing the animatics every freakin day. They have an in house sound editor so they've outsourced the rest to us. He's actually editing directly on the AVID and not in PT, thus the mess.
