Mbox Pro (MAC) Control Panel Not Connected but works in ProTool
Simple setup.
MBox Pro - Firewire connected to MacBook Pro
Yesterday this worked perfectly, went on site and nothing appears to work.
The (system preferences) control panel says Hardware Not Connected. Last night this worked.
Got back and testing in the studio and still the same problem. I opened Audacity and "Pro Tools Aggregate IO" is selected and it works, even though the control panel doesn't.
So I tried in ProTools and that works too.
I was going to leave the setup onsite (they are recording a book) so initially hooked up everything on their Mac Workstation. I do have other interfaces to take onsite but really wanted to use the simple one (Mbox).
Any ideas?
