I just tested this out and the same error message comes up.
I power on the studio 192 and universal control and it is showing its sample rate is 44.1. Ok so I switch it to 96 in universal control. I then load up pro tools and even holding the N key down to select the studio 192. When the new session window pops up it has its sample rate parameter at 44.1, from what I understand is because that was the sample rate of the last session I had loaded up. So i left it at 44.1, and also changed it to 96. But I am not trying to create a new session, i want to load up a previously save session at 96. It gave me the error message both times. Soon as i create a new one at 96 I can then open the previously save 96 session......very.....strange.....and annoying.
Sounds like I should take a trip over to the presonus forum and figure out if this is a problem i should report to presonas or pro tools. or both.
