My only point is that Windows/PT10 CANNOT open a
MAC-only/PT5/SDII session. I recently had to restore one, and could only open it using my legacy rig (green line of sig). I opened it with PT6, upped faders to +12, checked MAC/PC compatible, & converted to wav. Opened that conversion with current Windows/PT ---> viola.
It's cool that AVID makes available a 10 license, since it'll open
some old session formats (not mine tho ...).
