Default Re: Please help. No midi signal

Thank you very much Jack for your help.

I tried connecting the midi USB cable directly to the PC and I did turn off all USB hubs power savings with no luck.

So, I uninstalled PT, PC sound card, midi and audio interface drivers, cleaned the registries and restarted Windows. Then I installed PT, midi driver and connected Avid Fast Track Due (another audio interface I have) after disabling all running programs and antivirus software with no success.

I checked my keyboard midi channels and they are running fine. I tried dedicating a channel to an instrument through my keyboard and PT but that also didn't work.

Once again, if I run Reaper, everything is working just fine but not Pt.

I should note that only the first time I installed PT and my hardware drivers on my PC, there was a midi signal but only for once. When I quit PT and restarted it, the signal was gone forever. Also, when I quit PT, it freezes, and I have to close it through task manager. That was not the case when PT was communicating fine with my keyboard. Some kind of conflict is going on I guess.

Not sure what to do else.
