After reading several forum posts and topics, i tried to use my original MBox on my MacBook Pro with OSX Lion installed. i wanted to use it with Logic Pro 9, which is also not supported for the original mbox. So i downloaded the latest driver for the original MBox, which is the Digidesign Core Audio 7.4.2. Then i updated the required software extensions for the Core Audio Manager from the PACE website and now the MBox is working under OSX Lion in Logic Pro 9
