There's a thread in the Virtual Instruments sub about this issue. Someone there suggested deleting the Mini Grand pref file in the user library, which essentially makes it so that you have to relink to the .big file when you launch the plugin the next time.
Worked for me - but only until I restarted the machine. Then it was right back to the clipped notes.
I guess there's an issue with v1.2.1 of Mini Grand being able to read the .big file under Sierra.
I wonder if/when we'll see the newer 1.2.7 version here at Avid (?)
