Gobbler didn't do so well, all those folks are elsewhere now. Avid sued Gobbler for unfair competition for hiring those folks.
Wow.

As described in my edit to Post #7 above, I was able to get my three cloud Projects the next day, after having had no access to them for about 24 hours.

I downloaded them and converted them back to Sessions. See the above post for some of the weird stuff that happened along the way.

Today I opened the Projects to double-check that they matched the Sessions before deleting them from the cloud. Among the odd things that happened were that the cloud storage meter in the Dashboard said I was using 636% of my storage capacity! (The actual usage before the problems began was under 50%.)

Even after I had deleted my Projects, it said I was using around 29%.

Avid support made the laughable recommendation of deleting the Projects after saving them as Sessions, then saving as Projects again.

Why would anyone in their right mind do this, unless they're a beta tester? They never said the bugs were resolved and that the same problems wouldn't happen again.

I'm done with Avid cloud. Hopefully it'll get fixed at some point, but I got burned so bad I can't imagine trying it again anytime soon.
