Be careful here, it may very well be a problem with Pace ILM, but it is very unlikely a problem with the physical iLok. I just do not want folks hearing "iLok" and think they should debug/replace the physical iLok.
And as for ILM.. this *might* be an interaction with Avid Link, so as I mentioned above a good move would be to get that off the computer, clean stuff up and try again (including reinstalling ILM).
