I lent my mbox2 to a friend who is on a MAC G4 (not sure of the exact OS) but he is not getting any playback sound... He states the MAC see the mbox but the mbox shows no "lights"

the usb led is supposed to light up when connected according to the manual. It does not light up and I can't here the demo through the headphone jack on the Mbox as indicated in the manual. I have followed the instructions for installation and set up to the letter. there are no lights at all indicating any functioning of the Mbox itself, however my computer does know the Mbox is connected. As far as the manual and what is says, the led's on the mbox are supposed to light up or illuminate when connected.

i have a windows xp pro sp2 set up and it worked fine for me via headphones & out to maudio speakers but i am not sure of the isntall steps for mac and feel something may have been missed..
