Yes, but I had the same problem forever. I finally came across the answer myself. You must set it up to run as Windows XP Service Pack 2 in compatibility mode. Immediately fixed the multiple DAE errors that made recording with this program so frustrating. Haven't seen a DAE error since.
This link says to set it as Windows 7 but that didn't work nearly as well as setting it up to run in XP.
