Default Question regarding renewing to an upgrade/support plan

Hello all,

Couple questions that I will ask in a moment...

First...Avid has stated: Customers that purchased/activated Pro Tools 11 by December 31, 2014 got extended coverage through March 31, 2016.

I upgraded from 9 to 11 back 11/3/2014...

Thing is, I came across this Q & A in the FAQ, that's confusing to me...

Q. Will my Pro Tools license expire at the end of the one-year support period?
A. No, you can continue to use Pro Tools after your upgrade/support period expires since you will own a 'perpetual' license. If you want to continue receiving upgrades, you will need to renew your upgrade/support plan. Pro Tools 11 owners will have through the end of 2015 to get on an upgrade/support plan.

I'm probably overlooking something (or over-thinking), but based on their statement: Pro Tools 11 owners will have through the end of 2015 to get on an upgrade/support plan..., do I need to renew to an upgrade/support plan by the end of this year 2015? Or, since I paid to have extended coverage until 3/31/16, am I okay to renew by then?

Also, since I'm again paid up until 3/31/16, am I entitled to PT12, for free when released?

Your clarification is appreciated...Thanks!
