The Audio Technica stuff is great (4033/4040, 4047, 4050, 4060). I personally wouldn't choose an AKG 414 for vocals. If you do go that route I'd opt for the TL II model. The Soundelux U195 is an amazing mic, and even though it's at about $1000 it's a great value in my opinion.
The Rode NTK, NT1000's might be worth looking into.
I find that the NTK isn't as airy and open as the Soundelux U195.
