Default Re: Mac Pro 2013 10 or 12 Core?

I was hoping to move on this soon. . . so would really like to hear from people that have comparisons with 8/10/12 core processors in the 2013 Mac Pros heavily loaded with native Plugins and Virtual instruments (in addition to the HDX Cards in expansion Chassis). . . I am hearing the 10-Core is best for Pro Tools and Logic, but so little info out there. . .the overhead of extra cores does really have a negative impact, and with the reduced clock speed as the cores go up does as well, so it is not apparent that more cores is better. . . hoping for some real world experiences. Thanks!
