This might be as simple as opening IO setup and hitting the DEFAULT button, or manually adding the input paths. Having said that, I agree with Darryl about updating your interface. Most of the M-Audio interfaces were built to a price point and quality was/is sorely lacking. Add to that, M-Audio drivers were never that good, and its not a great outlook. Of course, if your budget is too tight, then keep trying and keep your fingers crossed(but also be prepared to wave the white flag at some point
