This problem has been solved.
With the help of Nugen support and a lot of testing we discovered that the crashes were caused by a
case sensitive system drive!
Workaround:
- Open Terminal (Applications/Utilities/Terminal)
- Type "cd ~/Library" (without the quotation marks)
- Press Enter
- Type "mkdir preferences" (again without the quotation marks)
