1. Will I be able to run 12 on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) 8gb ram OS 10.11.6 El Capitan?

2. Any tips on getting my PT9 sessions with plugins over to PT12? I think the plugin format has changed so I'm assuming none of my PT9 plugins will work? Does that mean I have to process each track with their plugins before updating?
