Default Re: New Hardware Exchange / Upgrade Prices?

Hello. Well after spending some time reading the offer and all it entails, this is obviously a push for the Native part of Digidesign's business model. The obvious part is that you exchange old LE interfaces ('Native' interfaces for their time, sort of) for an HD Native system. Not a TDM system but an HD Native system. Native to native so to speak, and as Touchwood Studios points out there is no exchange for TDM hardware.

Now if we speculate a little bit, we can see that this offer ends in the middle of March and so they could introduce a new HD Native hardware line at NAB in April. Exactly like the prototype that was shown at the Intel Light Peak demo last year, which was a 192 I/O connected directly to a laptop with one cable. HD Native with Thunderbolt.

So paraphrasing the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld, TDM based clients..."no hardware for you!". At least not yet, and not in this offer.
