Absolutely impossible to use you say? Modulation has been added to digital reverbs as a way to create more natural reverb tails for ages, check out Exponential Audio takes on the classic Lexicon sound for example. I'm sure you have your reasons not to want this modulation and I'm not sure if that can be turned off in D-Verb (never had any 0roblem using D-Verb) but there are plenty of other reverb plugins (even free) that you can use instead.
